A riving mass of twisted black plastic and metal moulding together out of a fog of electrical static – also known as the digital age in which we live in. Wireless communication and even a man on the moon but still there is no soloution to the mess of wires involved when listening to music. Two pieces, the first is a single colour the second highlighted with metallic silver.

I woke up on Wednesday to the vision of the new world that had arisen overnight from the ashes of republican America; wars had ceased, crime had just disappeared, poverty and disease no longer existed. This may be a slight exaggeration but if you had voted Barack Obama in the US presidential election it seems this is what you believed would happen.

Obama being sworn in is clearly a great moment in American and World history and will undoubtedly have a huge effect on how America is governed and perceived globally, but are people expected far to much from Barack? he seems to have been elevated from the realm of politician to messiah.

Below are a selection of pictures from work on my latest stencil, it’s a full size 180cm tall 6 colour piece. It is printed and then stuck onto 1 ply corrugated cardboard. Keep your eyes peeled as it will come to a street near you very soon.

The saying goes that money cannot buy you happiness, but even though money is a big motivation in life and fuels our society there is a great deal out of its reach, like love, happiness, friends and health.

It is seen to be the answer to everything but it creates more problems than it can solve.

Why the rain in London has stopped for a few minutes I thought I would send out an update on how things are going with my new art. The 3D piece I was working on is now finished and all the UHU issues have been resolved. I will take some photos of it as soon as the weather perks up and it won’t get soaked and ruin all the hard work.

I am also working on 2 new stencils – these have been on my mind for a while and I am finally getting them from brain to stencil. I will keep you up to date as I go along and actually have something to show, at the moment they are still being drawn up. They are both focusing on the same subject – Global warming and making a stand against it, if our politicians won’t do something then we will have to.

After months of testing, redesign and more testing on a group of small albino rabbits I am pleased to present to you the new re-incarnation of 3will.

It still has it’s old style of moaning and groaning about politics and how society is governed but now it has stopped ignoring its better looking alter ego Leinz and has excepted they are one and the same. So now you will be able to get all the news, views and latest art from Leinz.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Leinz (thats me by the way) I am a Graphic  Artist from London who likes to question everything around them. My chosen medium for doing this is bold stencils that try and convey a message and to also provoke thought on matters that are normally just be accepted not questioned.

So just to clarify the confusing blur between 3will & Leinz – Leinz is the artist and 3will is the way I communicate with the outside world.

All of the previous 3will articles dating back to August 2005 are still online for you to read (please don’t judge me on how the old site looks – I was young and crazy)

I thought I would start the new 3will on a slightly different tone than most readers would be used to, instead of moaning about life in London or how the politicians are corrupting blah blah I want to tell you how my new art work is coming along.

It’s a 3D piece that’s at about 80% complete, for now I will name it ‘Fist full of dollars’ until I can think of a more fitting title. I ran out of glue yesterday after a few hours of sticking so I went out this morning to buy some more of what I thought was the same stuff, UHU – surely that black and yellow branded tube is the same the world over?. Apparently not, it seems the new tube I brought today in a new easy to spread applicator was going be the same sticky stuff i so dearly treasure.

BUT oh no after trying to glue some parts together it all went horribly wrong, the paper began to curl and bubble, then it started peeling apart from the nice solid and uncurled ones I had used all my old trusty UHU on the previous day. So a word of caution – beware of the light / diet / slim version of UHU that will stick fuck all but curl and warp your paper.

I will be unveiling my new piece as soon as I have found some proper glue, wiped my tears away and finished all my sticking and clipping.
